Coca-Cola Birmingham Amphitheatre, Birmingham, AL

The Birmingham Amphitheatre is a premier live entertainment venue developed as part of a new construction project in Birmingham, Alabama. Designed to host major touring acts and large-scale events, the venue required a comprehensive, design-build signage program that supported branding, operations, and an intuitive guest experience.

Fravert was selected to deliver a full design-build signage solution in partnership with Stone Building Company and Live Nation. Engaged early in the process, Fravert led the signage design effort while collaborating closely with Live Nation to align branding standards, operational needs, and wayfinding strategies across the site. The project moved at a fast pace, requiring efficient coordination and a streamlined workflow from design through installation.

In total, Fravert designed, fabricated, and installed approximately 500 signs throughout the venue. A major component of the scope included sponsor integration, most notably the Coca-Cola sponsorship signage. Fravert produced multiple large-scale Coca-Cola monument signs along with the primary sponsorship identification sign, creating some of the most visually impactful features on site. All sponsor signage was executed under strict brand compliance requirements, ensuring consistency with national Coca-Cola standards while maximizing visibility and presence within the venue.

Throughout construction, Stone Building Company relied on Fravert for design-build leadership and real-time problem solving in the field. Live Nation provided ongoing review and feedback during the design process and played a critical role in gathering and confirming signage information, allowing the project to maintain momentum despite a compressed schedule.

The result was more than a signage package. Through thoughtful design, precise fabrication, and seamless execution, Fravert delivered a fully integrated signage system that supports intuitive wayfinding, reinforces venue identity, and elevates the overall fan experience at one of Birmingham’s premier entertainment destinations.
